A contemporary shaker kitchen in a warm, family home.

We are really excited to share this kitchen with you from a project we finished in King’s Channel in Waterford City recently. This customer had a clear vision of a traditional kitchen with a modern twist, and they shopped around extensively before deciding to go with Evoke to design and deliver it for them. 
We loved this kitchen and putting every element of it together. 

From the outset, we worked with the customer on choosing their style and colour. We went for two contrasting blues from our Concept Collection: the Glacier Blue shaker door for all of the under-counter cabinets, and its slightly darker cousin, the Blue Grey shaker door for the wall units, tall standing cupboards and the complimentary accent shelving we made to add character to the space. 

We then chose the impressive Cambria Quartz in Summerhill as the countertop and matching splashback. Cambria Quartz is known worldwide for its quality, durability and luxurious aesthetic.

We went for two contrasting blues from our Concept Collection.

To keep with the traditional look and feel of this kitchen, we recommended the Cluny Classic range-oven from Lacanche in Vert Silice. The extractor fan, which you would hardly even notice is there (it's built in to the accent shelving!) is from our Falmec range. The integrated fridge is AEG and the tap is the motion-sensor Sensate from Kohler. 
All of the lighting in this kitchen, both integrated and the ceiling pendants, is from the new Evoke lighting ranges.
To finish off the look, we supplied these elegant Jalis bar stools in charcoal grey leather from our COR furniture collection.
